Dhaka Office: As many as 229 platoons of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed across the country, including 32 in Dhaka and adjacent districts, to maintain law and order situation.
The BGB headquarters confirmed the matter on Thursday morning.
Besides, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has deployed its 460 patrol teams throughout the country. Of those, 160 teams are working in the capital, the battalion headquarters said.
