Bangladesh News Desk: As many as 74 persons were killed in 35 accidents at rail level crossing across the country in last seven months.
Road Safety Foundation, a private organisation engaged in monitoring safety of passenger and commuters, came up with the data on Saturday.
Around 219 people were killed in 116 rail crossing accidents from January 1, 2020 to July 28, 2022.
Of the accidents, 35 took place in seven months of this year claiming 74 lives.
The information came after 11 persons were killed in a devastating accidents in rail crossing in Mirsharai of Chattogram.
