UNB, Dhaka: President Abdul Hamid on Sunday asked the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) to recruit third and fourth class employees through the PSC.
Hamid said this while BPSC Chairman Sohrab Hossain presented the annual report of the Commission 2020 at Bangabhaban. The President said it would save time and mitigate the suffering of job seekers.
President Hamid also directed the PSC to ensure transparency and accountability in every aspect of the recruitment process.
During the meeting, the PSC chairman apprised the President of various aspects of the annual report and the steps taken to conduct the commission during the Coronavirus period.
The President expressed satisfaction over the work of the Public Service Commission and hoped that the PSC would make every effort to ensure that deserving youth of the country are appointed to various government posts.
Secretary to the President’s Office Sampad Barua, Military Secretary Major General SM Salah Uddin Islam, Press Secretary to the President Joynal Abedin, Secretary (attached) Wahidul Islam Khan were present on the occasion.
Other members of the commission were present at the time.
