Earthquake jolts parts of country

BSS, Dhaka: A moderate earthquake jolted different parts of the country including the capital in the early hours of today.

The quake was felt around 12.28 am at 5.6 degree on Richter scale ,according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

The quake’s epicenter was neighboring Monywa in Myanmar, approximately 477 kilometers (km) away from the East-South-East of the capital.

However, no casualty was reported.
