Entertainment Desk: Today is the 51st birthday of heartthrob actor of Bengali film Salman Shah.
His fans and stars of the showbiz arena posted status on Facebook and shared their feelings, love and respect to the actor. They also organised small programmes to commemorate the day.
After two decades of his death, Salman Shah’s popularity is still skyrocketing. The actor is still in the heart of viewers in his short career. Salman was born at Daria Para in Sylhet on September 19, 1971. Popularly known as Salman Shah in films, his nickname was Shahriar Chowdhury Emon.
He acted at 27 films, including Keyamat Theke Keyamat, Antore Antore, Sujon Sokhi, Sopner Nayok, Chaoya Theke Paoya, Jibon Sangsar, Prem Piyasi, in his short career.
He teamed up with Bengali actress Shabnur in his most of the films. They were also recognised as the best pair in the Bengali film history. Their all films were superhit.
On his birthday, Shabnur has given wrote an emotional status: “Immortal hero Salman Shah, be well in heaven. Dhallywood is always missing your emptiness since your death. You were ahead of your era.”
