Political News Desk: BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has said all activities of the current interim government may not be liked by all, but the interim government must not be allowed to fail in any way.
He made the comment while virtually addressing the mammoth rally held in front of BNP Nayapaltan headquarters in Dhaka on Tuesday.
“Some activities of this government may not be considered as a success by all. But we all have to remember that the failure of this government is the failure of all of us and the failure of the pro-democracy people of Bangladesh. So this interim government can in no way be allowed to fail,” Tarique said.
Tarique Rahman hoped the country would move forward to an election roadmap, following the reforms initiative undertaken by the Prof Muhammad Yunus-led interim administration.
The BNP leader, however, said the current government itself must also be careful that it does not fail.
