Senior Reporter: The National Board of Revenue (NBR) on Thursday (January 30) has extended the deadline for submitting income tax returns till February 16.
To this end, the revenue authority issued two orders extending the time for submission of income tax returns for both online e-return and offline filing of paper returns for all taxpayers.
Additionally, the deadline for companies to submit tax returns was extended by one month to March 16.
The last date for submitting income tax returns of all categories of taxpayers except those of companies for the 2024-2025 fiscal year was Friday (January 31).
