Community Bank Bangladesh Limited inaugurated 4 branches of bank in Dhaka city on Tuesday.
Benazir Ahmed, inspector general of police and chairman of the bank, inaugurated the branches through a video conference from police headquarters in Dhaka, said a press release.
The 4 new branches are Gulshan Branch, Dhanmondi Branch, Chawkbazar Branch and Uttara Branch.
To celebrate the launch of the brunches, Benazir Ahmed cut a cake with the board members and other high officials of the bank.
In the inauguration ceremony, Benazir Ahmed said, “Community Bank Bangladesh Limited is not a bank for Bangladesh police only, but also for the general people. It has been established with specific purpose, with distinctive features. It has been established to provide financial security to the people of the country through innovative banking solutions.”
Moinur Rahman Chowdhury, additional inspector general of police, Mohsin Hossain, additional IGP (Railway), Bangladesh Police, Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, additional inspector general, Bangladesh Police and director general, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), were also present among others on the occasion.
