Country’s top streaming platform Bongo has officially launched the download feature for its Android and iOS app users, said a press release on Friday.
Users have been waiting for months for the highly requested feature i.e. download on Bongo. Time and again their demand was to watch Bongo at all times, but they didn’t want to be restricted by the shackles of slow internet or no internet. With new download feature for offline viewing anytime anywhere, viewers’ demand finally met by Bongo.
“You asked for it and we delivered! Enjoy watching offline! We are working relentlessly to bring exciting new features for your (viewers) convenience all the time. Downloads are now available, enabling you to save content for viewing later when you’re away from internet connection. No internet, No problem.” said Fayaz Taher, Chief Operating Officer at Bongo.
The download feature is available on both WiFi and cellular connections. Users can disable cellular downloading in settings, if they want to avoid eating into mobile-data usage. With this new feature, users are able to watch a video content offline once they download it, anytime and anywhere. They can download their desired content over WiFi to save precious data.

A download icon will appear at the bottom of the screen while watching a content on Bongo, meeting prerequisites like sign-in and subscription pack purchase. One needs to follow the subsequent steps like selecting resolution and clicking on the download icon to complete the download process. Users will be able to access the downloaded content from ‘My Downloads” tab, and will have up to 30 days to watch the downloaded content.
