Bangladesh Railway started selling advance train tickets on Friday (July 1) morning on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
Selling advance train tickets will continue till July 5. Tickets will be sold from 8.00am to 4.00pm everyday.
Advance tickets for July 5 will be sold on July 1 while the tickets for July 6, 7, 8 and 9 will be sold on July 2, 3, 4 and 5 respectively, according to sources.
Fifty percent tickets will be sold from counters and the rest online, they said.
Every person will have to show photocopy of national identity card or birth registration certificate.
