Andaman and Nicobar Desk: The Andaman and Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee (ANTCC) has formed an alliance with the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK, A and N Islands) for the upcoming Municipal and Panchayat elections 2022. An official announcement in this regard was made on 07th February 2022 in the presence of AICC State In-Charge Mr. A. Chellakumar, ANTCC President Mr Rangalal Halder, DMK State Organiser Mr. A.L.Kulandai, the Member of Parliament Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma and ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr. TSG Bhasker.
The alliance also marks a seat sharing agreement between Congress and the DMK for the forthcoming Municipal and Panchayat election. Accordingly, the DMK will contest in Ward Number. 1, 6, 9, 15 and 21 of the Municipal Constituencies. Mr. Rangalal Halder, being the President of the ANTCC signed the agreement letter in the presence of other office bearers and handed it over to the DMK State Organiser Mr.A.L.Kulandai.
