UNB: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday forecast light to moderate rain in the next 24 hours, commencing at 9 am.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal , Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” said Met office.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Chandpur, Noakhali, Feni, Moulvibazar and Khulna and it may abate, said a regular bulletin of the Met office.
Day and night temperatures may fall by 1-3 °C over the country.
