Sports Desk: The 10th edition of Bangladesh Premier League T20 will get underway on January 19 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
Reigning champions Comilla Victorians will take on Durdanto Dhaka in the opening match while Sylhet Strikers will face Chattogram Challengers in the opening day’s other matches.
Shakib Al Hasan’s Rangpur Riders will begin their campaign against Tamim Iqbal’s Fortune Barishal on January 20. Khulna Tigers, which are the other franchise of the seven-team tournament, will face Chattogram on the same day.
The weekday first matches including Saturday will start at 1:30pm while the day-night matches will begin at 6:30pm.
For Friday, the starting time will be 2:00pm for day matches while the day-night ones will start at 7:00pm.
After four match days, the tournament will move to Sylhet, where a total of 12 matches will take place between January 26 and February 3.
Chattogram fans will also enjoy 12 BPL matches this year between February 13 and 20.
However, the three play-offs alongside the final will be held in Mirpur just like the previous editions. The final will take place on March 1.
