Dhaka office: Dhaka Metropolitan of Police (DMP) has imposed a ban on motorcycle movement for three days before and after the 12th Jatiya Sangsad election.
A circular signed by DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman was issued in this on Thursday (January 4).
The ban on motorcycle movement will remain in force from 12pm on January 6 to January 7 midnight (12pm).
However, candidates, law enforcement agencies, armed forces, administration and polling agents can use those vehicles during the period.
Earlier, the Election Commission (EC) imposed a ban on motorcycle movement for three days before and after the 12th Jatiya Sangsad election.
