John Wilbert and Savita Kumari, Port Blair: An Andaman Fishing Boat along with 08 Indian fishermen have been apprehended by Indonesian authorities in waters of Rusa Island on 07th March 2022 for allegedly entering into Indonesian borders.
As per details, the Andaman fishing boat named ‘Blessing’ bearing registration number IND-AN-SA-MM-2110 was caught on 07th March 2022 after which all the 08 fishermen were arrested and the fishing boat were seized.
It is learnt that among 08 fishermen, 04 fishermen are from Tamil Nadu and other four are from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, who have been identified as Mr. Marie Jashindos, Mr. Brijn, Mr. Vinesh, and Mr. James Bose, all residents of Junglighat, Port Blair. Further details are awaited.
