Political Desk: A gazette notification was published on Wednesday extending suspension of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s jail sentence for six more months.
Public Relations Officer of Home Ministry Sharif Mahmud confirmed the matter while talking to journalist.
Khaleda Zia can receive treatment staying at her residence in Dhaka in this extended period. But she would not be able to go abroad at this moment. Like the past, suspension of her jail sentence has been extended for six months more on previous conditions, he added.
