BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s family is likely to apply to the government seeking permission to send her abroad for better treatment, party sources said.
Khaleda Zia has been receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital in Bashundhara Residential Area of the capital for 31 days.
Physicians said she is not physically fit to get release from the hospital requiring prolonged treatment.
Earlier, the government rejected application of the family to send her abroad on the plea that a convict cannot go abroad without the court’s permission.
