BSS, Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” said a met office bulletin issued here.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
The highest temperature yesterday was recorded at 35.3 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi while today’s minimum temperature was 25.5 degrees Celsius at Kutubdia in Chattogram division.
Maximum rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorde 65 millimeters (mm) at Kutubdia.
