World News Desk: Denmark, Greece, Pakistan, Panama and Somalia have got seats on the United Nations Security Council, reports AP.
193 member states participated in the voting held at the UN General Assembly session and elected these five countries as non-permanent members of the Security Council for the next two years.
These 5 countries will replace Japan, Mozambique, Ecuador, Malta and Switzerland. The other 5 non-permanent members of the UN Security Council are Algeria, Guyana, South Korea, Sierra Leone and Slovenia.
