Sports Desk: Bangladesh U-15 women’s national team made a flying start in the 4th SAFF U-15 Women’s Championship as they crushed Bhutan by 8-0 goals at the Bir Sherestha Shaheed Sepoy Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Tuesday.
Forward Sauravi Akanda Prity made her first international hat-trick scoring three goals in the 68th, 73rd and 90+2nd minutes in the day’s goal-fest match.
Forward Umehla Marma added a brace in the 7th and 76th minutes and forward Thuinuye Marma, defender Joynob Bibi Rita and midfielder Kanon Rani Bahadur contributed each in the 21st, 28th and 50th minutes of the game.
Bangladesh will play their next game against Nepal on November 5 at 4:30pm at the same venue.
