Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is back at the Test rankings after the latest rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday.
As he was banned from cricket following his failure to report the corrupt approaches, the ICC erased his name from the rankings of all format of cricket.
The ICC has released the Test rankings after the first Test between New Zealand and the West Indies.
All-rounder Shakib is at number four in all-rounder rankings with 366 ratings points. He was in third place with 398 rating points before his name was removed from the rankings due to the ban.
England’s Ben Stokes has risen to the top after West Indies captain Jason Holder went down one step. India’s Ravindra jadeja is at third position with 397 points.
Shakib is ranked 37th in the Test batting rankings with 576 points. The left-arm spinner is ranked 22nd in the bowlers’ rankings.
Earlier, Shakib returned to the ODI rankings after the ban. The left-arm all-rounder returned to the top spot straightway in ODI all-rounder rankings, replacing Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan.
Later, Shakib got his place back in the T20 rankings. The best all-rounder in Bangladesh returned to the rankings being in second place in Twenty20 cricket. BSS
