Sports Desk: Opener Tamim Iqbal is returning to cricket with the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
He information this at a press conference held at Banani in the capital on Monday afternoon.
Tamim said, “A clear decision was needed about the future of my international career after the World Cup. I openly discussed with Papon bhai (BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon) in this regard”.
“He also had something to share. I told him what I want to do. Then he told me to wait until the national election as he is too busy for that reason. I may resume playing cricket with BPL. After that, it will be clear what I will do”, Tamim added.
