Md Kawsar, East London: ‘Raipur Society UK’ organised its Board of Committee meeting on 21st October and formed its full Executive Committee.
Convenor of the Organisation Zakir Hossen presided over the meeting and Member Secretary Nazrul Islam Sumon conducted it. Gazi Mohammad Morshed recited from the Quran in the beginning.
In the new committee Zakir Hossen was elected as President, Nazrul Islam Sumon as General Secretary and Shimul Patwary as Treasurer. The other members of the committee are Senior Vice-President Barrister Akbar Bin Siddik, Vice-President Mohammad Kawsar; Joint General Secretary Mahbub Alam Khan, Assistant General Secretary Aminur Rahman Bhuiyan, Organising Secretary Gazi Mohammad Morshed, Assistant Treasurer Faroque Ahmed, Office Secretary Sharif Hossen Sajib, Publicity Secretary Abdul Hannan, Sports Secretary Anwar Hossen Mitu Patwary. The EC members are Jamal Hossen Jewel, Mohammad Siraj, Abul Hossen, Riaz Alam, Mahfuzul Islam and Ariful Islam Chowdhury.
Advisers of the executive committee who were present in the meeting included Mahbubur Rahman, Morshed Farooq, Rashed Alam, Mahfuz Bin Anwar and Shaheen Ahmed Patwary.
