Sports Desk: Bangladesh Football Federation Tuesday signed a two-year jersey sponsorship deal with local sportswear brand Dour.
According to the contract, the kit sponsor will provide jersey, socks and tracksuit to the men’s and women’s national team as well as all age-level sides.
The BFF will also get a certain percentage from all jersey sales made by Dour.
Speaking at the BFF House, the president of the country’s football governing body Tabith Awal hailed the agreement as an achievement of the new committee, and said they will save at least one crore Taka which the federation used to spend previously in a year to cover all jersey costs.
Head coaches of the men’s and women’s team, Javier Cabrera and Peter Butler, also praised the new deal in a video message on the BFF social media page, alongside national footballers Rahmat Mia, Topu Barman, Arpita Biswas and Afeida Khandaker.
BFF vice president and marketing committee chairman Fahad Karim and Dour founder and CEO Abid Alam were present among others in the signing ceremony.
