Bangladesh News Desk: Chinese Embassy to Bangladesh have reached out to the flood-hit destitute at various places of Kishoreganj and Sylhet.
The high officials of the mission teamed up with local MP in distributing the food and essential items among people.
“Today Mr. Yan Hualong, Minister-Counselor and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy, joined H.E. Mr. Rejwan Ahammad Taufiq, MP, and local officials in Kishoreganj to distribute our humble relief foods to the flood-stricken brothers and sisters in the region.
The 5-day family food ration includes rice, flour, oil, sugar, potatoes, onions and salt.
The Embassy is saddened to see people suffering from the flood, and is willing to extend our solidarity and support to those in need.
Meanwhile, Minister-Counselor and Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Yan Hualong travelled from Mithamain to Habiganj and then Sylhet, either in car or on boat, to distribute emergency food supplies to people affected by the severe flood.
In the face of a major natural disaster like this, the Embassy will always stand with our brothers and sisters in Bangladesh.
