Community News Desk: Members of the Rapid Action Battalion yesterday (October 1, 2022) arrested four members of a gang, including the ringleader for allegedly looting the belongings of over 300 expatriates after making them unconscious at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
The arrests were made from the capital’s airport and Kadamtali Police Station areas, Khandaker Al Moin, Rab’s Megal and Media Wing director told The Daily Star.

Looted gold, mobile phones and materials used to make people unconscious were also recovered from their possessions, he said.
Rab also said the arrestees have been committing such crimes for the last 15 years. There are more than 15 cases against the ringleader Md Amir Hossain.
Rab will hold a press conference regarding the matter at 11:30 am today (October 2, 2022) at its Karwan Bazar media centre.
