The number of COVID-19 cases in Tripura has crossed 14,000-mark after a total of 691 positives were identified in the state on Friday.
The total number of positive cases now stands at 14,507.
With this, on an average of 600 new cases are being detected in Tripura every day for the last four days.
It may be mentioned here that on Friday, Tripura recorded the highest ever single-day spike in COVID-19 cases.
The earlier highest single-day spike was 588.
It may be mentioned here that Tripura has the highest mortality rate in the Northeast.
