Denis Giles, Port Blair: The Andaman and Nicobar Hilal Committee has declared today that Eidul Fitr will be celebrated in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 3rd May 2022.
As no report of sighting of moon has been reported from anywhere in the islands, the A and N Hilal Committee in its meeting held today has unanimously decided that Eidul Fitr will be celebrated on Tuesday 3rd May 2022.
May this Eid strengthen world peace, prosperity, the bonds of brotherhood and bring happiness among all the people, the Committee wished.
