India’s failure to hold BSF officials accountable has exacerbated the atrocities. And as a result, very poor, innocent, and vulnerable people are being subjected to inhumane torture year after year.
Chief guest Barrister Najib Momen said, “India did not stop killing Bangladeshis on the border. They want to take over our beloved motherland through economic, political, and cultural aggression in Bangladesh. And like martyred Abrar, once again the vassal government of India is making arrangements to stop those who are speaking and protesting against that aggression of India. Addressing the Prime Minister of India Modi, he said, “People all around are waking up against injustice and oppression, so treat everyone fairly in time. Otherwise, the people of the South will show the people of Asia and teach India what they should do.”
ERI President Mahbub Ali Khanshur said, “The Indian border guards had killed 334 Bangladeshis in the last ten years. If a zero-tolerance policy is adopted against the violation of law by the Indian Border Security Force, the killing of Bangladeshis will stop.” Jubayer Ahmed said that, India is shooting Bangladeshis like birds at the Bangladesh-India border. Such killings are taking place at the border due to a lack of effective measures by the Awami government. This is happening year after year due to the kneeling foreign policy of the government. Morshed Ahmed Khan said, the Awami government is shamelessly subjugating India to stay in power. Therefore, in order to avoid the aggression of India, we must first continue to fight against the Awami government irrespective of party affiliation.
