Dhaka Office: Bangladesh Press Council organised a views exchange meeting with Dhaka Sub-Editors Council’s professional journalists.
A seminar and views exchange meeting was organised at the Bangladesh Press Council Auditorium at Topkhana in the capital on May 28.
They discussed various aspects of improving the quality of journalism.
Bangladesh Press Council Chairman Justice Nizamul Haque Nasim and Secretary of the organisation Shyamal Chandra Karmakar highlighted various points.
President of Dhaka Sub-Editors Council Muktadir Anik presided over the programme and General Secretary Zauhar Iqbal Khan gave a welcome speech.
Bangladesh Alo publisher and editor Mofizur Rahman Khan Babu, DSEC former presidents Ashraful Islam and Zakir Hossain Imon, senior member Mosharraf Hossain and Women’s Affairs Secretary Farhana Naznin Flora spoke on the occasion.
Superintendent of Press Council Mohammad Sakhawat Hossain moderated the programme.
The seminar and exchange meeting on ‘Role of Media in Establishing Good Governance’ organised by Bangladesh Press Council was attended by DSEC Vice President Ali Imam Sumon, Joint Secretary Monir Ahmad Zarif, Treasurer Nazim Ud-Daula Sadi, Organizing Secretary Shahid Rana, Office Secretary Zafarul Alam, Publicity, Publication Secretary, Arif Ahmed, and all the executive members.
