This exhibition of Bangla calligraphy commemorates the 70th anniversary of Ekushey February
Bangladesh Desk: Alliance Francaise de Dhaka is hosting the opening of the solo exhibition titled Borney Byanjona” by Arham ul Huq Chowdhury.
It will be held on Friday, 11 February 2022 at 5:30 pm, at La Galerie and Galerie Zoom, Alliance Française de Dhaka, 26 Mirpur Road, Corner of Road 3, Dhanmondi.
This exhibition of Bangla calligraphy commemorates the 70th anniversary of Ekushey February.
After the inaugural ceremony, the exhibition will be open to all till Tuesday, 22 February 2022.
The earliest example of the development of the human intellectual faculty is the cave paintings and the invention of writing gave the civilizations its pinnacle. The culmination of writing and painting is in calligraphy or stylized writing.
Bangla is the mother tongue of a large group of population, in the struggle of its establishment came the 21st February the international mother language day. This 21st February is the 70th Platinum anniversary of the Language movement. For this milestone anniversary with 70 commemorative Bangla calligraphies, Alliance Francaise will organize the 18th solo exhibition by Arham ul Huq Chowdhury titled “Borne Benjjona” – “Layouts in letters”.
