Mursalin, 24, a salesman at a clothing shop, was killed during the recent clashes between students and traders in the New Market. He died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital early Thursday.
As the body was sent to the morgue after his death, relatives of Mursalin had been waiting outside since the morning. His brother Nur Mohammad was also seen waiting tiringly.
“There is no justice in this country, who would carry out the justice,” Nur Mohammad told the newsmen before moving away a little further only to cry out loudly.
The body of Mursalin was handed over to the relatives around 1:30pm. The body was then taken to their rented house in West Rasulpur in Dhaka’s Kamrangichar. Mursalin would be buried at Azampur.
Prior to leaving with his brother’s body, Nur Mohammad told newspersons, “What will happen by filing a case? Whom will we file the case against? We knew nothing how brother died. Only he and Allah know. We saw nothing other than hit an injury marks on his body.”
