Dhaka Office: The High Court (HC) has stayed the process to appoint 46,000 assistant teachers at the government primary schools in Dhaka and Chattogram divisions.
A High Court division bench of Justice Mustafa Zaman Islam and Justice S M Masud Hossain Dolon passed the order on Tuesday (May 28).
Barrister Syed Sayedul Hoque Suman moved the writ before the court, while Deputy Attorney General Tushar Kanti Roy stood for the state.
The court also ordered the authorities concerned to probe allegations of question paper leaking in the third phase test for the recruitment of assistant teachers in government primary schools.
