Police in separate drives arrested 2708 people and seized huge amount of drugs from different parts of the country in the last seven days until Monday.
The drive was conducted from July 19 – 25, said a press release of police headquarters.
During this period, 1904 cases have been filed.
Besides, 4,66,072 Yaba pills, 9930 bottles of phensidyl 2.597 kgs of heroin and 2088 kgs of hem ,have been seized during the drive.UNB
