NE NOW NEWS: Assam reported 4 more Covid19 deaths and 283 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.
Confirming the news, Assam health minister Keshab Mahanta in a tweet on Saturday evening said the overall positivity percentage stood at 0.71%.
The new positive cases were confirmed out of 39,808 tests.
Of the new cases, the Kamrup Metro district recorded 108.
The recovery rate stood at 98.41%.
On Friday, Assam reported 3 Covid19 deaths and a total of 322 positive cases.
Assam recorded an overall positivity percentage of 0.73% on Friday.
The new positive cases were detected out of 43,841 tests on Friday.
The Kamrup Metro district recorded 112 cases.
Assam’s recovery rate stood at 98.40%.
