Amazon.com, the world’s largest e-commerce site, published a book by the writer and journalist Ranzit Sarker recently. The book is written in English. The title of the book is ‘Amelia’s journey with animals.’ Its children book is available on Amazon’s Kindle section.

Regarding the publication of books in Amazon’s Kindle section, Ranzit Sarker said the development of information and technology has brought about many changes at different levels of society. There have been many changes in our reading habits. Amazon has allowed publishing books. Therefore, it is not right to miss the opportunity to publish books in the international market. Amazon sells lots of books by many authors. I have written over 50 books in Bengali. However, only two are in English. The joy of publishing the book ‘Amelia’s journey with animals’ on Amazon is like the first book.
Ranzit Sarker was born in Raiganj upazila of Sirajganj district. Although Ranzit Sarker completed his Honors-Masters in Accounting, he took up journalism out of a passion for writing.
Ranzit Sarker recently won the Ink and Pen Young Poet and Writer Award in Children and Adolescents for writing a teenage novel titled ‘Liberation War at School’. The number of books published by Ranzit Sarker is 52, including stories and novels.
