Bangladesh News Desk: The interim government is set to change its ambassadors in 20 countries, with current diplomats being asked to return, said deputy press secretary Abul Kamal Azad Majumdar.
The press secretary revealed the matter in a regular press briefing at foreign service on Tuesday (December 10).
He said that the recommendations from political parties to withdraw diplomats are also being actively considered. Several Bangladeshi ambassadors are expected to be recalled in December as part of the Public Service Retirement (PLR). They have been recalled.
Earlier, on August 15, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs brought back 12 people, including seven ambassadors and high commissioners.
