The government offices will reopen on May 5 after Eid-ul-Fitr vacation.
Ministry of Public Administration came up with the development to reduce length of Eid vacation.
If May 5 was declared holiday, the government employees would get leave for nine consecutive days.
If anybody wants to enjoy May 5 as holiday, he/she will have to apply for personal leave.
The Eid-ul-Fitr may be celebrated in the country on May 2 or 3 depending on moon-sighting.
