BSS, Dhaka: The met office today predicted that light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind may occur at different parts of the country in 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi and Khulna divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” said a met office release here today.
Day temperature may rise by 1-2 degree Celsius and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, it said.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded 33.8 degrees Celsius at Chattogram in Chattogram division and today’s minimum temperature was 21.8 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
Maximum rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am today was recorded 173 millimeters (mm) at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 5.28 pm today and rises at 5:59 am tomorrow in the capital.
