Bangladesh News Desk: The government has rescheduled the office timing for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan from 9:00am to 3:30 pm for all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions.
The decision was taken on Monday at the weekly cabinet meeting held with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair at the Prime Minister’s Office.
Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam briefed reporters at the Secretariat about the cabinet meeting this afternoon.
Depending on the sighting of the moon, Ramadan, the month of fasting for Muslims, will start from April 3 or 4. At present, office hours are from 9 am to 5 pm.
