Community News Desk: On May 03, 2022, at Chiang Mai, the second largest city in Thailand, the Studio 88 Artist Residency and Weave Artisan Society jointly organised Non-Fungible token (NFT) Creation Workshop conducted by Ms. Preema Nazia Andaleeb, a renowned Bangladeshi Artist as the resource person.
Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Thailand Mohammed Abdul Hye graciously attended the event in person as special guest.
The Founder of Bangladesh Creative Forum (BCF), the President of Women in Leadership (WIL), and Chair of Preema Art Foundation, Artist Preema Nazia shared how to create an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) as a collectible digital asset that can be tradeable in the digital world. She also guided the workshop participants to create their own NFT.
At the end of the workshop, Bangladesh Ambassador to Thailand in his short speech thanked both the organisers and the Bangladeshi expert in NFT Ms Preema to conduct the workshop.
He appreciated the interest of the participants in this contemporary phenomenon of art and technology.
He also mentioned that this event is a significant add-on while both Bangladesh and Thailand are jointly celebrating the golden jubilee of bilateral relations.
