Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Dhaka launched a photo exhibition titled ‘Rosatom Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow’ marking the 75th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry on December 22, said a press release.
The photo exposition offered a glimpse into the world of science and high technologies created by unique specialists of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation ‘Rosatom’.
Visitors enjoyed the world’s first nuclear power plant and an atomic icebreaker, factory workshops and some restricted scientific laboratories, which are usually for authorized staff only.
Rosatom, a global technology leader, is currently constructing the first nuclear power plant named ‘Rooppur’ in Bangladesh which will provide people with access to a source of stable and pure energy, the press release added.
Bangladesh becomes part of the atomic world. And this circumstance explains its interest in nuclear energy and the latest technologies promoted by ‘Rosatom’.
