BNP has announced 48-hour countrywide hartal including the day of election to drum up support in favour of the non-cooperation movement and boycotting the January 7 elections.
The countrywide hartal will begin from 6:00 am on January 6 (Saturday) and end at 6:00 am on January 8 (Monday).
The party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement at a virtual press briefing on Thursday (January 4) afternoon.
