Community News Desk: Six chartered flights are scheduled to arrive in Dhaka by September and October to welcome Bangladeshi students, who got stuck in their country due to Covid, back to China, said Deputy Chief of Mission Hualong Yan.
The chartered flights of China Southern Airlines and Eastern Airlines are scheduled for September 26 and 28; and October 10, 12, 24, and 26, he told UNB.
Earlier, the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka opened a “green channel” to issue visas for the students.
Around 3,000 Bangladeshi students had to return home from China due Covid. And many of them continued their studies online.
