Community News Desk: Members of the Bangladesh community members, few Indian community members, diplomats and some local Bruneians actively participated in the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations organised by the Bangladesh High Commission in Brunei Darussalam inside the chancery premises.
The programme started at around 03:00 PM (Brunei time) with the arrival of the guests who were given warm welcome with ‘Eid Mubarak’ by the Bangladesh High Commissioner Nahida Rahman Shumona.
The Indian High Commissioner in Brunei Mr. Alok Amitabh Dimri graced the occasion as special guest.
Also present were Hjh Norazlianah Hj Ibrahim, Special Duty Officer, Prime Minister’s Office, and few diplomats.
After the ceremonial greetings, the Eid happiness shot up even further when the guests became overjoyed with variety of food made with exquisite delicacy.
The Bangladesh High Commissioner read out messages from the President and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
