The Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC), Dhaka and Bangladesh Astronomical Association (BAA) jointly organized a virtual event including presentation and exhibition titled ‘Famous Russian Scientists and their Discoveries’ on July 25, according to a press release.
Maxim Dobrokhotov, director of the RCSC, welcomed the participants of the program adding that Russia has many renowned scientists. They have made discoveries in Physics, Ophthalmology and other fields. Their discoveries in various fields have universal significance for the development of modern science.
Mashurul Amin, president of BAA expressed thankfulness to the RCSC for organizing the event. He said Bangladeshi people could get useful information about Russian scientists and their achievements from this event. He also hoped to continue such scientific and educational program in the future.
The enthusiasts of Russian scientific discoveries can also enjoy the program at the YouTube, the press release added.
