UNB: Popular actor Bidya Sinha Mim has been cast to play a RAW agent in the upcoming spy thriller “MR-9.”
The film is based on the novel “Dhongsho Pahar” from the “Masud Rana” series, written by Qazi Anwar Hussain.
The novel was adapted for screen by Nazimuddaula, Asif Akbar, Abdul Aziz, and Bew Clerk.
Mim will play the role of Sulota Ray, an Indian Raw Agent, opposite ABM Sumon, who will be playing the iconic role of Masud Rana.
The supporting cast includes Tariq Anam Khan, Jessia, Sajjad, Hollywood actor Michael Jai White and others.
Produced and directed by Bangladeshi-American filmmaker Asif Akbar, the thriller will be filmed in both Bangla and English, under the banner of Jaaz Multimedia and Hollywood’s Avail Entertainment.
After her engagement earlier this month, Mim has announced two new projects, including “MR-9,” and Raihan Jewel’s next directorial effort “Pothe Holo Dekha.”
