Agartala: Giving a much need relief to thousands of students, Tripura University today declared all the students of degree colleges and Varsity to elevate to the next semester due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Thousands of students were anxious for the past two and half months over their semester examinations due in April and the examination could be taken up due to lockdown.
Today, the Varsity issued a notification declaring that holding semester examination would not be possible because of Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown. “Under this circumstance, the Varsity has decided to elevate all the students to the next semester based on first semister’s results. However, the students will have to face final semester in due course of time”, it said.
With today’s notification, thousands of students have got relief from the uncertainty during the very difficult time.tripurainfo
